Bow Ties are In Again
In the "Look" section of The Edmonton Journal they recently reported that “Bow ties are back.” As the fashion world embraces classic fashion trends once again, bow ties are quickly re-emerging as a must have accessory for the 21st century male.

Quoting Landon Derk from Derks Formals and Menswear, “A bow tie has many different looks, starting with either a self-tie or pre-tie bow tie. The fact that the self-tie is a once tie look, it always looks different each time you tie it. You can say it’s almost an art to master the skill of bow tying. With bow ties, there are also different styles you may choose from: narrow, medium, thick, or butterfly. Not only does Derks provide access to custom made bow tie services, you can even bring in your own fabric to have a custom bow tie made.” However, he does recommend that you choose a type of fabric that is recommended by their specialists or you can choose from over 400 different swatches at Derks.
The younger audience for bow ties is significantly growing as mainstream celebrities and television show characters are continuously featured or admired for their chic and exceptionally trend setting wardrobes. Ed Westwick’s character for example, in the ever popular show Gossip Girl has proven, time and time again, that bold fashion attire and accessories can absolutely help one exude their confidence and appreciation for fashion.
With the increasing popularity of bow ties, they have quickly become an everyday wearable accessory for men of all ages and occupations. A bow tie is a simple way to add a pop of color, detail, or even a touch of sophistication to your classic outfit.
